Susan Bahadori- Speech Language Pathologist

I am a speech-language pathologist who has provided speech-language therapy to Aucocisco’s students since 2017. I have been practicing since 2009 and came to Maine after 5 years in Washington, DC. I provide individual and group sessions to students in both my office and the classroom. I love to collaborate with the talented staff at Aucocisco and make speech-language therapy as relevant as possible to students’ real-time educational needs.

I am the owner of Portland Pediatric Speech Therapy

DJ Landry, LCPC - Social Worker

I have a self designed Bachelor’s degree from USM in Creative Arts Therapy, two Master’s Degree in Integrated Expressive Arts Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass. I am licensed in Maine as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.

I began doing this work when I was 22 years old with my focus being the use of “non verbal approaches” integrated with verbal processing. Since then, I have been trained in TFCBT, the Spiral Method of Trauma Debriefing, etc., while expanding my work into more of an intermodal approach.

After working in private practice for many years, I accepted the position of a Sweetser School Based Clinician in 2013. I have worked within school and community settings since that time with individuals and families, teachers and systems.

I joined the staff of Aucocisco School in August 2023 as the full-time Social Worker.

My mission is to assist others while witnessing their processes and offering support. I am fortunate in that I love doing this work. I enter into each day with humility and utmost respect.

Amy Marshall, PhD, MS Occupational Therapist

I have been practicing Occupational Therapy since 2000.  For the majority of my career so far, I taught OT in a university setting, during which time I earned a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences from University of Kentucky with a focus on youth and adolescent OT services in the child welfare setting.  Over the past five years, I have worked primarily as a school-based therapist. I am passionate about an OTs’ unique role in using an occupation-based and sensory-informed approach to support children’s ability to engage in daily life activities. I hold a Proficiency Level 2 Certification in Sensory Processing from the STAR Institute, and a Basic Certification in DIR-Floortime from ICDL (International Council on Development and Learning). She is certified in the Size Matters Handwriting Program.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son in the outdoors hiking or canoeing, and also enjoy a quiet afternoon curled up on the couch with a good book.

I am contracted by StoreySmith Pediatric Clinics.
